Waterloo Info Update!!!

Hi Everyone!

1 Sleep! I hope everyone is feeling excited!

Just a bit of information for everybody attending the Waterloo event”

Start time: 7pm
Speaker: 8:30pm

There will be a variety of activities ongoing throughout the night. Facilitated discussions, speakers, and lots of great people to meet. Feel free to bring frisbees, etc. (It will help keep you warm!)

Bring snacks too! Food Not Bombs were unable to help us out with food this year… but we are so thankful for their efforts anyways! They do a lot of great work, and we will learn more about their efforts at the event!

Please dress warm, bring lots of blankets and a reusable mug for warm beverages. The Campus Response Team will be at the event, they will take care of us ;)

Please bring your pledge packages to the event. If you have cheques that need addressing, please address to Volunteers on Campus. We are hoping to give the charity, Families in Transition one lump sum after all of our money is collected.

Last, please come out and show your support, even if you cannot stay the night, don’t have any pledges, etc. Your presence is support enough.

Thank you all x a million. You are all truly inspirational, truly representing young people making change in their communities.

See you tomorrow!

Hi guys!

1)Pledge Packages
2)Posters

1) The pledge packages are now available in the WPIRG office (2nd floor SLC, right off the stairs).

In an effort to keep the costs of this event to a minimum, we have only printed a limited number. It is encouraged for participants to print their own.

All of the package material (pledge sheet, mission statement and Families in Transition information) are available online in the attached Google Docs. Just a tip, they print a bit better if you download them into word rather than just printing online.

2) Posters have been printed and will start appearing around campus. It would be really great if people were willing to display the poster as their profile picture. It really helps to spark interest and spread the word!
