Out in the Cold 2009

A big THANK YOU to InsideToronto.com for putting together this video of Out in the Cold at the University of Toronto.

On behalf of OITC Toronto thanks for everyone who came out last night to the fundraising pub night.

From the sounds of things, individual fundraising is going well so keep up the good work! Keep hitting up your parents, friends, profs etc. Please have your donations ready for Friday. In Toronto cheques can be made out to the:

Having organized this grassroots event every year since March 2007 at the University of Waterloo, we are pleased to launch this online portal for all things related to Out in the Cold. We are also pleased to note that this grassroots initiative is expanding beyond the University of Waterloo, and will be hosted at the University of Toronto as well.

Of course, if you are interested in hosting Out in the Cold on your campus this Friday November 20, 2009, please get in touch with us and we will send you a toolkit with everything you need to know in order to run a successful (and fun!) event.

If you are in the Waterloo or Toronto area, consider participating in Out in the Cold with your friends on Friday, November 20, 2009, raising money but more importantly, raising awareness of the very serious issues of poverty and homelessness in our local community.
