Event Organizers: Jenna van Draanen (Toronto) and Kaija Saarinen (Waterloo)

Location:

Toronto: King’s College Circle, University of Toronto

Waterloo: Outside the Student Life Centre, University of Waterloo

Participants were asked to bring: Sleeping bag, Pillow, Warm warm warm clothes, games, musical instruments, snacks, camera, and anything else you feel you’ll need.

Out in the Cold 2009 was co-hosted by The Graduate Student’s Union (Social Justice Committee) and The Underwear Club at the University of Toronto, and by theFederation of Students, Volunteers on Campus (VOC) and WPIRG at the University of Waterloo.

All proceeds from Out in the Cold 2009 went towards supporting 416 Community Support for Women in Toronto, and Lutherwood Families in Transitionin Waterloo.
